The HUB (Helping the Underserved Belong) is a non-profit organization (501c3) and was founded by the Mayor’s Task Force to End Homelessness in April 2017. It is a point of entry for homeless individuals into a larger network of services offered throughout Jonesboro, Arkansas.

HUB Volunteers work with local members of the community affected by homelessness in an effort to empower and assist them in navigating their way to stability. Participants are given access to resources such as skills training and community support agencies that help them to overcome their current circumstances. Program guests receive access to referrals, the internet, hygiene items, temporary addresses, references, help getting ID’s, financial literacy, and more.

The HUB would not be able to do what it does without the support of the Jonesboro community. The donations we receive help to keep our doors open, assist our program guests obtain identification so they can secure jobs and housing, and allows us to offer the variety of services we do. No donation is too small and we are grateful for the continued support.

Connect individuals with the resources they need to begin their journey out of homelessness.

Who we help

The HUB will assist any homeless or near-homeless individual that needs assistance. Our focus is to work with individuals who are interested in participating in our program and are ready to make changes in their lives.

How The HUB works

The HUB is organized and operated by trained volunteers and private donations. Our guests enroll in a 90-day program with the goal of reaching stability. We are not a shelter but a resource center that connects the guests in our program with local, state, and federal resources.
